We are seeking a passionate and experienced Small Animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clients expanding nursing team in the Wirral. As an integral part of the team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including perioperative care, nurse clinics, and assisting with routine surgeries and dentistry procedures.
This role will involve working across 2 or 3 branches on a rota basis!
Responsibilities:
** Provide perioperative care for various procedures, including neutering, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
** Assist with the care of day-patients in the kennel room or cattery.
** Conduct nursing clinics such as weight clinics, senior clinics, health checks, and dental check-ups.
** Administer vaccinations, immunotherapy, and other injections.
** Perform blood and cytology sampling.
** Maintain a high standard of veterinary care at all times.
Working Hours:
> A set rolling 4 week rota.
> Shifts: 8am-7pm on weekdays (1-hour unpaid lunch); 8am-6pm on Saturdays (30-minute paid break).
> Designated weekday off every week.
> When working a Saturday per 4-week rota, a weekday off in lieu will be provided.
