My client has a very rare and exciting opportunity to become a valued team member of a referral centre in the beautiful part of Fife in Scotland. They are on the lookout for a dedicated nurse with a genuine passion for patient well-being, a steadfast commitment to maintaining high clinical standards, and a thirst for professional growth within a stimulating work environment. Particularly, they value those with an interest in Orthopaedics, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
Renowned across Scotland, they often receive referrals from veterinary surgeons seeking specialist orthopaedic treatment. As a result, nurses are exposed to a diverse orthopaedic caseload, ranging from routine procedures to complex fracture cases. Their unwavering focus remains on providing accessible, evidence-based care of the utmost quality to each of their valued patients.
In this role, you'll engage in a variety of responsibilities including inpatient care, client support, diagnostic imaging, assistance during anaesthesia, conducting nurse consultations, aiding in surgeries, upkeep of surgical equipment, patient preparation for procedures, and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Nurses of all experiences will be considered for the role and although a referral background is desirable, it is not essential as this role would be a gentle introduction to referrals due to the nature of the caseload. The split will be approximately 85% orthopaedic referrals, 15% general practice.
